Here’s an update on what’s been happening at the Gamma Delta Chapter:

The Fall Pledge Class is 13 New Members. We had 3 summer signs, 4 through formal recruitment, and just recently gained 6 through informal recruitment. This pledge class contains 13 high quality men that will be a great addition to Delta Sigma Phi.

We recently held a Hurricane Katrina Relief Fundraiser with Delta Gamma Sorority and Delta Upsilon Fraternity. All the proceeds have not been counted up yet but we are thinking that we raised up or even over a thousand dollars.

During work week we accomplished many projects that needed work on. The chapter room, dining room, hallways, basketball court, and stairwells all got repainted. The door was sanded down and restained the door and also a new kickplate was put on it. A new sprinkler system was installed in the summer. We hope that the chapter room will be replaced with new carpet and furniture in the near future. We are building a kitchenette in the dining room to give our new cook more room in the kitchen. There are a lot of projects that we hope to get worked on soon.

We hope to get the alumni newsletter sent out and also put on up on the webpage when it is completed.
